VegScan was created by NewLeaf Labs, and is a social sharing tool to help people identify items that may or may not be vegan (no animal products at all) or vegetarian.

How does it work?
All you have to do is point your iPhone camera at an items barcode and VegScan will check to see what the community says about the product. You gain points and achievements for your interceptions and contributions with the VegScan community. It’s as simple as that.
